Changes in the Visa processing fees

The Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion (AID) has approved a change in the Immigration Regulation which implies that, the fees for the processing of applications to the Schengen area increases from EUR 35,- to EUR 60,- valid from January 1, 2007.
The increase in fees also applies to applications for group permit.
The reason for the changes in the processing fees is the increased administration costs as a result of the implementation of the Schengen system VIS (Visa Information System).
