Changes in vapour return procedures at Kårstø Gas Plant

Kårstø Gas Plant will change its routines related to vapour return during loading of C3.
From 21 January 2008, the figures on the Bill of Lading will not be adjusted according to metered vapour return, port captain Arne Mathisen informs.
It will, however, still be possible to connect to the vapour return system during loading. Reference is made to the Harbour Regulations Handbook Article 3.11.
The terminal has experienced that very few vessels actually use this service.

The Gas Plant find this new arrangement to be largely cost saving.
